Thanks for the response.  I am using a demo account which has $100k USD.  Hence, as the example in the your User Guide shows relevant position sizing for an account of $10k, I was just multiplying my sizing by 10.  So based on your User Guide example, what position size would you recommend?  And I will just multiply it by 10 also.

Might be worth updating the User Guide with this information also, as other will probably wonder the same thing.

Hi, that's correct, for the metals a different kind of position sizing is needed. Please let me know your current account balance and current margin utilisation, then I could give you a specific position sizing advice. On the other hand, it's quite easy to calculate and depends on your own risk tolerance. You know where the stoplosses are, so you can calculate how much you would lose if those stop levels are hit at base position sizes, such as 1000 ounce for silver and 1 ounce for gold. Then simply multiply these values until you reach the limit of your risk tolerance or your available margin equity.

Hi there,

I'm just doing the trial month for SureForexSignals and have a query regarding the position sizing for XAU/USD and XAG/USD.  I am using an OANDA FX demo account.  In the USer Guide, it mentions no more than 5,000 units or 0.5 mini lots per signal pair, as the largest recommended position size for a $10k account.  That I can understand.

However, how does that relate when it comes to XAU and XAG?  I tried those values, but it is clearly not relevant to them.  In which case, what position sizing would be recommended as maximim?

Thanks,
